Fancy Pants

There's nothing much that I can say about these pants other than that they are from Suno. The shoes are from Zara, and yes, they are uncomfortable, but if I can do it you can too.

mondays are not so bad

I know in theory Mondays are supposed to be the worst, but I've come to notice that, for me, Mondays are not so bad. 

Maybe its the expectation that they will be so, absolutely terrible that when its finally happening you find that its not as painful as you initially expected. It could also be because I don't mind getting up early (I certainly don't love it, but I can deal with it) or maybe its because my laziness is paying off for once; I keep neglecting to install curtains on my bedroom windows. 

I'm enjoying not hating Mondays, I hope this feeling lasts.

one plus one = one

I was not planning on doing an outfit post today, but I decided to wear my new jackets to work today and a lady stopped me as I was exiting the subway and told me I had a "beautiful jacket". Little did she know I was actually wearing two jackets and was immensely regretting that decision on account of my gross misjudgement of the weather. So alas, here I am, in all my sweltering glory, un-made-up face and all. Go ahead, you can now judge me.

 This is what happens when you unzip the sleeves (so awesome and you can get it here) off the Sandro trench and layer it over the Zara (or any!) jacket.

 This is me. I don't normally wear makeup so I guess I shouldn't feel shy/ashamed about posting pictures of my bare face.

See how far a small compliment can go? I was not even almost going to do a post today, but this random lady made me feel nice so I decided to take advantage of my boosted self-esteem.

I love this weather because it means I can wear my half/short sleeve, polyester, chain store tops without feeling too hot or too cold.
